Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?
I offer virtual therapy within the state of Florida and in-person therapy in my Tampa office. Virtual sessions are held over a secure video platform, allowing you to attend from the comfort of your home. In-person sessions are located in a comfortable office setting in central Tampa.
What issues do you typically work with?
I work with adults who are dealing with perfectionism, guilt, and a persistent sense of “not enough.” This often shows up as overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or feeling pressure to get everything right.
I also work with couples who feel stuck in patterns, disconnected, or find it hard to communicate and want to better understand each other.
What can I expect from therapy?
Our work focuses on understanding and changing the patterns underneath the pressure, not just talking through your week.
Over time, clients often notice they’re less driven by guilt, more confident in their decisions, and able to relate to themselves with more clarity and ease.
Do you accept insurance?
This is a private-pay practice, which allows us to focus on your goals without the limitations of insurance.
My fee is $125 per 50-minute session for individuals and $150 per session for couples. I can provide a superbill if you’d like to pursue out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan.
Do you offer a consultation?
Yes, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can briefly connect and see if it feels like a good fit before scheduling a full session.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. We can adjust frequency over time based on your needs and goals.
How long does therapy take?
That depends on what you’re looking for, but this work is typically more than short-term problem-solving.
We’re focusing on deeper patterns, which means change happens over time, but it also tends to be more lasting.
How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?
Fit matters. You’re looking for someone you feel comfortable with, but also someone who helps you move forward, not just stay in the same patterns.
The consultation is a good way to get a sense of that.
What are your credentials?
I am a Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida, working under clinical supervision.
This means I am continually consulting and refining my work to provide thoughtful, high-quality care.
