Therapy for people who are hard on themselves, and tired of carrying that pressure alone
If you've spent most of your life holding yourself to a high standard, you probably don't need someone to tell you to "try harder". You're already doing that. What you may not have had is a space where you can step out of the pressure of not feeling good enough and that you should be doing better, and actually understand where it comes from. That's the work I care about. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with perfectionism, guilt, and a persistent sense of "not enough". Many of my clients are thoughtful, responsible, and deeply care about doing things well as parents, partners, and professionals. But internally, they're dealing with self-doubt, overthinking, and a level of pressure that's hard to turn off.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. Together we look at the patterns underneath the self-criticism and guilt, where they started, how they've been reinforced, and what keeps them going now. From there, we work on building a different way of relating to yourself, one that allows for more clarity, confidence, and ease.

Many of the patterns we work on are closely tied to anxiety or shaped by earlier experiences where expectations were high, or where approval, safety, or stability felt uncertain. You don't need to have a specific label for what you're going through. If you relate to the pressure, the self-doubt, and the sense of never quite measuring up, this work can help.
